Who We Are

HENZO KENYA, is a community of about 700 Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML) and 300 Gastro-intestinal stromal tumors (GIST) patients, who are brought together by Glivec, (Imatinib) from Novartis that is made accessible to them free of charge through Max Foundation.

What we do

Henzo brings together patients of Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML) and Gastro-intestinal stromal tumors (GIST). We also bring together, their relatives, caregivers, well-wishers, clinicians, policy experts and volunteers. Henzo is a Swahili word meaning Love, and there is plenty of that within the group

Our Mission

Our mission is to create awareness about CML, GIST and other Cancers, provide emotional and social support to members and other cancer patients and to do advocate for mainstreaming of issues related to cancer that affect patients and general public.
